Regional Qualifiers
Athletes compete in regional tournaments across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia to earn spots in the main tournament.
Round of 16
Qualified athletes enter single-elimination brackets with 10-minute matches, no time limit in case of draws.
Semifinals
Top 4 athletes in each division compete in 15-minute matches with no time limit, guaranteed title shot for winners.
Championship Final
Ultimate showdown for the UFC BJJ championship belt with 20-minute matches and no time limit.
Qualification Requirements
Belt Requirement
Minimum black belt rank from recognized Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu organization (IBJJF, UAEJJF, etc.)
Competition Experience
Minimum 5 high-level competition wins in the past 2 years at black belt level
Weight Requirements
Athletes must make weight at official weigh-ins 24 hours before competition
Medical Clearance
Complete medical examination and clearance from UFC-approved physicians
