Michael Chiesa Blasts Isaac Dulgarian for “Trash” Performance at UFC Vegas 110

UFC analyst Michael Chiesa didn’t mince words when dissecting Isaac Dulgarian’s performance at UFC Vegas 110, tearing into the featherweight’s sloppy execution and lack of fight awareness after his loss to Yadier del Valle.

Dulgarian entered the bout as a heavy favorite, expected to use his wrestling and athleticism to dominate. Instead, he looked flat from the opening bell—throwing wild strikes, giving up bad positions, and getting finished in a fight that left analysts and fans confused.

“It was jiu-jitsu 101. You peel the top hand. You don’t punch behind you. That’s the most useless strike you can possibly throw.”

Chiesa wasn’t done there. He said Dulgarian has shown better skills before and that what he did Saturday didn’t match the level he’s supposed to be at.

“You know how to cut the corner on your double leg. You’ve done this before. You fought like an amateur.”

During the post-fight desk segment, Chiesa called it “an F-minus performance” and said if that’s the effort a fighter is going to bring, there are others more deserving of that roster spot.

The reaction online matched his tone. Fans pointed to basic mistakes, poor escapes, and a total lack of composure once things went wrong. For a fighter who came in with hype, this was the kind of setback that forces a full reset.

Dulgarian now has to prove this was a bad night — not who he is as a fighter. Because if he shows up like that again, the UFC won’t need Michael Chiesa to say it.
